Shasons chuck bodies are made of grade 20 casting & are designed to give maximum weight & overhang. screw & locks are made of alloy steel & are interchangeable 

  • Body is graded casting, designed to provide maximum rigidity with minimum weight & overhange
  • Jaw are case hardened and ground where required jaw are sufficient length to prevent tilt andrapid wear 
  • Pinion are of alloy steel with uniform hardened square threads of pinions are precisely cut to reduce pitch error resolution in a smooth movement these are ground on the diameters are interchangeable 
  • Lock are alloy steel & ground on the filting diamete for precise fit lock are interchangeable
